Chosing a builder is not an easy choice. We were looking for someone who would work with us on our dream custom built lakefront home. We chose Sterling Mintzer and he definitely met our expectations. Sterling truly cares about his clients and always had our best interests at heart. There are so many choices in building a custom home it can be a overwelming task. Sterling helped by providing ideas, pictures, and suppliers where we could see items. He cared that we got something we loved and not just the cheapest. He had the insulation contractor quote us with & without closed foam in areas. We chose to add foam for additional cost now and we are glad we did. Heating bills are half the cost of our previous house. All of the contractors that worked on our home took great pride in their craftsmanship, did quality work and were responsive in answering questions. The trimwork and staircase came out amazing! Also trim extension above kitchen cabinets of 9 ft ceiling is stunning! Sterling recommended Niko's Imports for our Australian eucalyptus hardwood floor which we love and saved money. Sterling was very responsive to our questions and concerns with communication by email, text, and phone calls. Being on lakefront caused some challenges which Sterling solved with his engineer contractors keeping overages at a minimum and helped keep stress down. Sterling Mintzer is an honest and straightforward builder who takes pride in his work and assures only the best quality for his clients.
