Woodworking wasn't always a passion of mine. It took me roughly twelve years to figure it out. After enduring nine years in the Marine Corps I was Honorably Discharged and struggling to figure out my next move. While I sorted things out I earned a BS in Technical Management and built cabinetry and furniture on the side. After a couple years of teaching myself the trade I thought I should pursue a legitimate education in the trade. So I enrolled in the Cabinet and Furniture Design Program at Palomar College and studied for two years. After my schooling I earned my C-6 Contractors license and started sub contracting which is currently 95% of my business. Fidelis Woodworks is a custom cabinetry and woodworking company, with all products handcrafted by Ross Habecker. The shop is located in Fallbrook, California, a small town in north San Diego County.
