Guardian Property Management

DISHONEST Deceitful and fraudulent company. They allocate the work to be done for the associations they manage to friends, family and people they know. I recently found out they only give friends the work, because they demand a “payoff”, for giving them the jobs. I also recently spoke to another Management Co who also has been aware of this for many, many years. I think the government should investigate and put them behind bars.

Shirley S - I'm not sure I know you, but I lived at at Ledgeview for over 20 years - when that property manager hired that low-end tree removal company, I made plans to move. I did not want to look at big, ugly dead tree stumps forever. I live in a gorgeous HOA now with beautiful landscaping. I don't have to look at dead tree stumps now. That tree removal company did not "prune" trees - they butchered them. The few trees they left they left them open to rot and they drop branches now like never in the 20+ years I lived there. They took the lowest bidder and got what they they paid for. I visited in April of this year and the front entrance off of Short Beach Rd looked disgusting - at least compared to where I now live, we have a row of cherry trees at one entrance and a row of crape Myrtle's at our other entrance. Better than a bunch of dead tree stumps and roots.

I have lived at a complex managed by Guardian Property Management for over 25 years. In my experience Guardian Property Management has completely turned the place around, and done work for us that has not been done in over 25 years. I would recommend this property manager to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and progressive leadership. Mark has picked up the pieces financially and aesthetically - our property values have gone up over 30%. We are now a financially stable association caught up with over 25 years of cap projects that were neglected, and the place looks great. I know of the person who was disgruntled about the tree pruning, and unfortunately there were other issues present that I do not personally feel reflect the quality of management by Guardian. I'd welcome anyone to drive by any association managed by Guardian and see for themselves the quality of management. We are very happy to have him.

this manager is the worst in the 20+ years I lived in a condo - spent thousands of dollars to have almost every tree cut down on the property , after telling me, and multiple other owners, "nothing is being cut down - trees are going to be trimmed". He put up notices saying "tree work" would be done, but kept telling people trees would just be trimmed. Horrible company with "tree removal" in their name were there for 4 days cutting down every living thing, leaving dead trees and bushes and cutting down live trees, They sell woods so didn't want the dead wood - the place looked like a tornado went thru when they left and they got thousands of dollars of our money. At the entrance they left dead stumps and roots and grassy areas they tore up with their trucks and dozens of dead branches they couldn't sell. I was so disgusted I moved out. Plus owner was very rude to me, acting like I was some outsider interfering in their private affairs when I lived there 20+ years and had been on the condo board. Told me he had no time to talk to me and "the trees are coming down - it is what it is, goodbye".
