Originally founded as Kohler Associates Architects and Kohler Homes, the companies changed their names to KohlMark in 2010 to more accurately represent their image. Mark Kohler holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and has practiced since 1984. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Metro DC Chapter of the NARI and co-chaired its CotY Awards Committee. Fletcher holds the same degree from Virginia Tech and has practiced for thirty years. Tom Flach earned undergraduate degrees in economics and Psychology from Vanderbilt University before obtaining a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Pool House | Mar 2012 | Chrysalis Award Winning Project Pool House The scope of work included the design of a contemporary pool house to compliment the new pool and landscape plan for our clients backyard. The clients desired the pool house to have a small great room area with a fireplace, a kitchen/bar area for entertaining, a powder room for pool guests and a dressing area with shower for the guests. The design was also to include some storage for pool supplies. The clients wanted the design to be very dramatic and open to the landscape in the backyard. The clients are thrilled with their new pool house. They have hosted a number of large parties and are very pleased with the way everything functions.
