Took my money without ever completing the job, helped him out in a bad situation and he never finished the job. Took my money for drugs probably. I'll make sure nobody ever uses this company again..

They took a %300 dollar deposit and did not show for work. PORCH reimbursed me. Many reviews regarding illegal drug use on customers property.

A man allegedly named “David Gray ” showed up on Friday April 9, to provide an estimate for running power to an electric range. He appeared impaired or mentally challenged. Not being sure of his problem, I let him do an estimate shown on the attached invoice. It seemed reasonable so I gave him a $300 deposit. No one showed up for the work as scheduled on Tuesday 13 April @ 10AM. I called a number hand written on the estimate at 1PM and spoke to someone who told me what I best interpreted as “he picked up his daughter”. I told the man to cancel the work and return my deposit because I did not want what I believed to be active illegal drug users working on my electrical system. “David” called me later in the day and told me they would be at my house the next morning at 10AM. He ignored my direction to cancel the work. I gave up and said OK but I would not allow any work if the did not show up on time. David and another person arrived two hours late and sat in my driveway smoking what I believed to be crack cocaine. I recognized the chemical odor not unlike burning plastic because of training I received when assigned as Drug & Alcohol Abuse officer for the Pacific submarine fleet. When they finally came to my door, “David” was so impaired that his speech was slurred and acted as if he were trying to stay awake. I told them to go away and received some juvenile con-fluted excuses. They finally left when I told them I was calling the sheriff. David issued some garbled threats which was basically “you will be sorry” as he left. I have since found out that others have had the same experience and “David” is not a licensed electrician, I believe he is using a license number he is not authorized to work under. The PORCH website lists the license as “expired” in 2020. In any case I believe the people I have dealt with at what they call “Gray Brothers Electric”, FL license EC113007999 are dangerous to their customers and their electrical systems. It also appears that they carry illegal drugs in their vehicles and distribute drugs from them because a company that employs drug addicts surly can not make a profit unless they are laundering money or dealing in drugs.
