Calvin Generator

After deciding I wanted a standby generator installed, I contacted Generac for referrals. After getting several estimates, I decided on Calvin Generator. On 5/22/19, I signed a contract and paid $4,000 (1/3 of the contract) to order the equipment. To date, 7/22/19, two months later I have not heard a single word. I have REPEATEDLY called. No one answers, and my increasingly irritated messages have not been returned. This man has $4,000 of my money & will not return emails, answer the phone, or return calls. I have contacted Generac, since they were the referral source. They have called him and sent him emails to no avail. DO NOT USE CALVIN GENERATOR under any circumstances!!! Consider yourself warned

John was at my house on Sunday for an evaluation of my electrical panel and about the possibility of getting a generator. and I am very pleased with the amount of information he gave me about the unit and what It would require to bring my electrical panel up to code. I really like that I am dealing with a guy that specializes in Generators. I will post updates as they come, but as of right now, John is the best I could have asked for!

So we just wrapped up the installation of a home standby generator at my house in Ellicott City, MD. My first impression of John when he arrived for our consultation he asked some very good questions. Then he went to his truck for about 15 minutes and came back with a printout of my homes electrical calculations and a folder full of really good material. I was really surprised at how fast he had put together the folder with 2 different installation scenarios. Later I found out that he was a Master electrician. The guy is 28 years old, impressed with how on-top of generators he. He also included a free 5 year warranty, a free wireless monitoring device, and installed a concrete pad, for cheaper than the other companies. Not one other company that I know of offers the concrete pad for free like John does. I called around and no one could match this deal. Support local businesses and give Calvin Generator a call. Especially when there is a true generator professional right in Ellicott City.
