About Twining Construction Co
Twining Construction Co. began operations in 1976 when Randy G. Twining obtained MHIC license #28419 after completing The Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship Program. The company started building new homes and doing custom home improvements at this time. Twining Construction Co. was incorporated in January of 1987. In May of 1991 Randy's brother, Roland C. Twining, moved back to Glen Arm from North Carolina and merged his company, Walnut Homebuilders with Twining Construction Co., Inc. to continue building quality homes and additions. Roland came to the area with a strong background in design and construction of passive solar and super-insulated airtight homes. Roland had been a licensed home builder in North Carolina since 1977. Together the Twining Brothers have over 70 years of construction experience and continue with a hands-on approach to building top quality projects that they are proud of. I contracted with Twining Construction for an addition for my elderly mother (Living/sleeping area and bathroom). The Twining Brothers were great to work with as well as all of the professionals employed by them. Since an addition they were in my home working for awhile, but made every effort to minimize any disruptions, etc. They totally understood what I wanted and needed and delivered. My mother LOVED her suite. The work quality was excellent, better than the rest of my house! The most amazing was that the resulting addition looks like it has always been part of the original house. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them unconditionally.

We have used Twining Construction for all our home projects, large and small, since 2010. Their work is meticulous, done on time, and within budget. All of the workmen are skilled as well as nice people. Recommend them without hesitation!

Twining Construction completed our custom home in February, 2010. Baltimore County placed limits on the size and location of the structure on our lot, but Roland & Randy were able to turn our ideas into actual plans. After moving in, we quickly realized we needed a bit more room. So, that very November, they began construction on our addition - a formal dining room, screened porch & 3rd car garage. Their knowledge, honesty & integrity is as top notch as their skills. In fact, in January 2011, when we decided to open our own business, we turned to Twining Construction for a THIRD time to build out the retail space!

Love, love, love these guys! Our new home addition could not be more perfect thanks to their attention to detail, advise and help with all the decisions that pop up during construction. Top of the line materials and workmanship. The Twinings are the BEST!
