About Sjb Painting
Owner Steven J. Butcher began his painting career working for his Father's painting company, J&J Painting, for 7 years. Steven then established SJB Painting, a second generation company, in 1998 and has been running it ever since. SJB Painting is committed to the highest quality that the industry has to offer! That is why our mission statement is "Committed to the finest workmanship in the industry". We cater to exterior repaints during the Summer months and we do the paint jobs that most other painters are inexperienced at!! Great experience from start of project to the finish. SJB painted the entire interior of our house in record time. Excellent work.. Very professional. Highly recommended!

I hired SJB Painting for several of our branch locations. The entire team of guys were very pleasant and professional. I have worked with several contractors and this company goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The owner Steve kept me informed of their schedule and time frames, and kept to it! My experience with other company's is they will say one thing and do another or the project takes 2 weeks and it becomes 2 months. Not SJB, when they tell you something, they back it up! I will definitely recommend them and use them for any future projects that may come along.

Unfortunately it did not go well. I never got the promised quote from Steve and when i called him looking for it I never heard back from him. I am very disappointed in both porch.com and SJB painting and will discourage anyone I know to stay away from both of your companies.

| Painting project | Jul 2012 | I used a different company to repair and refinish my deck a few years ago. They left it a miserable mess, with visible footprints, streaks, stain all over my backdoor, the whole nine yards. Steve came out and stripped the deck, made some additional repairs and restained my deck beautifully. Should have used his company in the first place! I also had him paint the ceiling in my basement black and frame in some glassblock windows. It turned out great. His crew took great care in taping up plastic visquene everywhere and covered the floors and furniture so none of the paint that was sprayed on the ceiling would go anywhere but the ceiling.
