Seamless Roof Restoration Installation

Oct 2014

Empire Roof Coatings recently sealed in over 153 SQ of very leaky roof for an auto dealership. The roof had many leak issues that had been "repaired" by other roofers over and over again with little to no improvement. Empire Roof Coatings crews cleaned the entire roof system and performed roof repairs as required before installing a seamless roof restoration membrane over the entire roof. The roof restoration system is completely waterproof even in areas with standing/ponding water. The system has been shown to last well over 50 years with no significant film damage to the materials. Ponding Roof Drain and Roof Restoration Installation

Jun 2014

Recently the owner of a downtown office and storefront building contacted Empire Roof Coatings regarding roof issues that they had been having with their building. Because the building was around 100 yrs old, the roof had sagged some in the middle away from the roof drain and was collecting a fairly good sized "lake" on the roof that remained for weeks after a rain. Empire Roof Coatings installed a roof drain in the lowest area of the standing water to remove the water from the roof and to alleviate the excess weight that the ponding water was placing on the building. Then Empire installed a seamless roof restoration membrane over the entire roof surface to seal and waterproof the entire roof system. Empire's seamless roof systems are completely waterproof, sustainable, energy-efficient and warrantied with a renewable warranty. Empire Roof Coatings uses the highest quality materials which have been shown to last well over 50 yrs with no material deterioration. Find out more at www.EmpireRoofCoatings.com

Large Metal Roof Restoration

Jan 2013

Empire Roof Coatings recently restored the metal roof for the local production facility of an international manufacturing company. The roof was leaking and weathered and in need of help. For a fraction of the cost of a roof replacement, we were able to restore the roof with a seamless Metal Roof Restoration System and placed the roof under a non-pro-rated, renewable 10 YR warranty. The entire roof area was thoroughly pressure washed with rust and oxidation remover and was then primed with rust inhibiting primer. Every fastener was reinforced with heavy duty roofing caulk and every seam was reinforced with roofing fabric embedded in roof coating. Our 85% UV reflective top coat was seamlessly applied over the entire roof surface to seal and protect the system for the long-term. When the initial 10 YR warranty expires, all that will be required to put the roof under another 10 YR warranty is a simple pressure washing and an inexpensive top coating. Check out these pictures of the process of installing another Sustainable, Seamless, Energy-Efficient, Warrantied roofing system from Empire Roof Coatings.

Large Trophy Barn

Jan 2013

Recently Empire Roof Coatings was asked by Vintage Construction to install a GAF Grand Canyon roof on a large gambrel barn roof in the beautiful town of Darby, Montana. The roof was about 120 SQ with 36% of the roof at a 16/12 pitch and a roof peak of 45 ft high which made for an enjoyable roofing challenge. By using fall protection, roof jacks, and at times a lift, the entire roof was completed in 7 working days by a crew that averaged 3 guys working at any one time. The resulting trophy barn is looking great so far and should be fully completed by Vintage Construction some time in October.

Beautiful, Rustic Home

Jan 2013

This beautiful, secluded $2 million home in Western Montana is only 12 years old, but the organic shingles installed during initial construction proved faulty and had already completely deteriorated. Though several other roofing companies had been asked to complete this re-roofing project, none had followed through. When the home owner contacted Empire Roof Coatings, an estimator was on-site within a day and the project was soon underway. The steep pitch of this roof and the secluded nature of this home, with several narrow wooden bridges to cross with heavy loads of roofing materials, made the project a fun challenge for our crews. The project was completed two weeks earlier than anticipated and the owner is thrilled with the beautiful, high quality workmanship and the appearance of the GAF Timberline ULTRA High Definition shingles.

Flat Roof Restoration

Jan 2012

Empire Roof Coatings recently restored a large flat roof with significant ponding water issues. The owner had gotten several estimates for replacing the roof or trying to seal it, but all of the roof replacement estimates were far outside of the owner's budget and no other roofing company had a good roof sealing option because of the large amount of standing water. That was when he contacted Empire Roof Coatings. For less than half of the cost of a roof replacement, Empire Roof Coatings was able to fully seal and restore the large flat roof with a system that is perfectly withstanding the ponding water. Empire Roof Coatings also modified the roof drainage system to help eliminate much of the standing water, thus greatly reducing the weight load that the roof was under. We also sealed in all of the building's duct work which was all on the roof. We will soon be adding a layer of Spray Polyurethane Foam insulation and coatings over the duct work to greatly increase the building's energy-efficiency by keeping the ducts warm in the winter and cool in the summer. And all of this for about half of the cost of the estimates for just replacing the roof!
