One wall in our family room was covered in brick. A fireplace is in the center of the wall. Years ago we had a contractor build a wood framed wall to cover the brick. Last year we wanted to install a gas fireplace but the installer informed us that the wood framed wall was not to code. The framing around the fireplace needs to be metal, not wood. We would like the wall brought up to code by replacing the necessary wood framing with metal. We also had a leak in the upstairs bathroom that damaged the ceiling in our family room. We would like the ceiling repaired.
