Our customer wanted to update their bathroom. Unfortunately, any upgrades would still be hampered by the previous layout of the bathroom and its lack of space. PenVal's team looked at the problem and by repurposing some unused space, and reconfiguring other areas, they were able to create a much brighter, larger, and more functional area. The old tub, vanity, floor, and toilet were removed and in its place a new modern, bathroom was built. The PenVal craftsmen leveled the floor and put down a wood look ceramic tile floor, one of the hottest trends in the flooring industry today. The old vanity was replaced with a beautiful, white free standing vanity. A new Framed, Pentagled shower with a custom ceramic tiled shower wall completed the masterpiece.

PenVal Construction, your General Contractor in Norristown, PA, recently completed a Water Damage Restoration project. Another water heater leaked out and caused some extensive damage. The PenVal team arrived and quickly removed the water damaged materials and began the dry out process using IICRC Certified technicians and procedures. When the dry out period ended, PenVal's experienced team of carpenters went to work restoring the drywall, replicating a custom section of flooring in the affected hallway, replacing the padding and carpet as well as painting the entire basement area.

PenVal Construction recently finished a Commercial Remodel where they re-purposed a retail space in Norristown, PA. The job included a total demolition of the inside of the building, re-leveling the floors. removing 125 pounds of old copper electrical wire, removing a previously unused 2nd floor, and removing an old hinge & latch door that was easily from the 1930's (it had been "walled over"). PenVal's team of Master Craftsmen re-tiled and re-carpeted the floors. They re-framed new walls, put in electrical outlets, put up drywall, spackled, and painted the walls. They put in drop ceilings, built a front counter to receive bullet-proof glass and several smaller work counters around the new space.

Customer had beautiful views out of their back windows but due to the landscape, and only having a small landing and steps out their back door, no way to take full advantage of the scenery. What PenVal and our customer came up with was a plan to access a new, raised, composite deck from the side of the house as well as steps from the back yard, and to allow the most use of the luxury deck, build a porch roof over a portion of this new, expansive, 650 square foot, TimberTech brand Legacy Tigerwood deck. The old, weathered, treated wood landing and stairs were torn down, 14 36 inch deep holes were dug and concrete foundations were poured to give the framing structure a solid base. PenVal's Master Deck Builders then began building the framework, seamlessly anchoring the new decking to the house, building an access from the side of the house out and around to the back of the house where the main deck was constructed. The TimberTech composite planks were secured to the frame with hidden fasteners. PenVal's team created a two-level deck with a one-step step up, built a two-tiered, stairway with a small landing up to the deck from the opposite side of the deck. Over the existing sliding back doors, PenVal built a 16' x 16' porch roof that perfectly tied in with the existing roof. PenVal finished off the deck with TimberTech's rail system in Fairway White PVC with white sleeves and caps on the post. PenVal further high-lighted the deck by installing lighting in the steps and posts allowing for safe use during the evening hours.

PenVal's customer had water damage to their laminate flooring that required the removal of the old flooring in the Sun Room, Kitchen, Bath Room, Hallway and Entrance Foyer. After the flooring was removed, PenVal's craftsmen applied floor leveling material on the sub-flooring, let it dry, put down foam padding, before expertly re-flooring the affected rooms with Pergo brand laminate flooring.

PenVal Construction, a remodeling contractor company, located in Norristown, PA, recently completed a Luxury Composite Deck Installation in King of Prussia, PA. To start the project, PenVal's team of highly experienced craftsmen took down a 30 plus year old deck. This involved taking down deck planking, railings, framing, posts and stairway to reach the above ground deck. When the demolition was completed, PenVal's carpenters dug and poured new post foundations. They then erected the posts and attached new pressure treated wood framing to the posts and house. This task also involved adding a new 320 sq. ft. decking section to attach with the existing deck and allow for a new entrance to the deck itself. PenVal's carpenters then went about custom cutting and fitting TimberTech brand composite decking material into a pattern that was pleasant to look at as well as being structurally sound. PenVal's carpenters also built a new stairway with TimberTech composite decking material to take the place of the old pressure-treated wood stairway. To all of that, PenVal replaced the aged pressure-treated wood railings with TimberTech Radiance Rail. To further enhance the luxury deck experience, PenVal added ambient lights to all the deck posts. PenVal also added an 8 foot by 8 foot porch roof to the house. The new porch roof, supported by the newly installed post, were finished off with TimberTech Pacific Walnut Fascia. This merged the entire new porch perfectly with the new, expanded, luxury deck. As always, PenVal oversaw the new designs, getting the proper permits, scheduling inspections, delivery of material, and the dozens of other detailed tasks that go into making a beautiful, maintenance free, luxury deck.
