JNI Painting & Prefinishing

We hired JNI Painting and Prefinishing to stain the exterior of our lake home this fall. Whad several trouble areas from lack of proper maintenance by the previous owners and were very concerned about how well the color would match and how it would turn out overall. Jerry and his employees were very attentive to our concerns and such a pleasure to work with, the end result is nothing less than amazing. The quality of work and attention to detail that his crew exhibited ensured that the project turned out better than we had ever hoped for. We received numerous comments from other contractors that were working on different projects on our home as well as our neighbors stating how impressed they were with the results and the quality of work that JNI provided. I would most definitely hire them again and I recommend them to everyone I know. A+ service from people who actually do care.

Hired JNI to repaint most of yhe interior of my lakehome. Most of the painting was done acceptably, but there were some exceptions (paint on molding, hole put in door, paint on gas fireplace, no taping between color changes, paint on ceiling, poor patching in some areas, paint on flooring, etc.). Owner yelled and was rude, when exceptions were identified with pictures. I've never experienced such unprofessional business conduct. I'd like to warn anyone looking to hire this company. Wish someone had warned me. Buyer beware. The owner (Jerry) has no respect for the customer, he lies to cover up his employee's issues in workmanship and sneaks in additional costs ($340) without any explanation or communication. He did fix some issues, but was very rude about having to do so. Overall experience was very poor and I wouldn't recommend him to anybody I know.
