We've had Shan-Gri-La do a number of hardscaping and landscaping jobs for us over the years. Not only is their finished work absolutely beautiful (we still receive lots of compliments about the patio, walkway and lighting work Chip and his team did a couple of years ago), but their professionalism throughout the process is top notch. From design through the through actual installation, they provide a great customer service experience (prompt, courteous, safe / clean environment during the job...key for us as our kids were young) and ensure their customers are happy with the end product.

Shan-Gri-La did such an amazing job on the initial rear pool patio deck that we have since used them on three additional projects (front porch, whole yard landscape, and new walkways from our driveway. The owner is extremely knowledgable and highly collaborative during the design phase and provides very fair pricing, especially for the high quality work that is performed. The team that did the installation did an amazing job and performed their work to the highest standards. They were ontime everyday and left the site as clean as it was when they started. Lastly, I do want to make a special note on the level or professionalism you receive from Chip and the Shan-Gri-La team. He is easy to communicate with, always receptive to phone calls, clearly communicates the schedule, and commits to his timetables. One of the most pleasurable companies to work with in the industry.

Chip and his talented team have been working with us for 11 years. He has transformed our landscaping, deck, fence and so much more! Thanks to Chip's wise advice we have a magnificent deck, custom outdoor lighting, beautiful pavers, a 17 zone sprinkler system and a spectacular artists studio! I would never consider using anyone else for our outdoor needs. Chip and his team are honest, reliable and deliver on what they promise.   | Outdoor Cooking | May 2015 | Design and install a patio, bar, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, lighting and landscape for a brand new home. This installation features EP Henry Pavers and Veneer Stone. The client loves to cook and wanted a large commercial grill with green egg cooker. They also entertain often so we created a space for dining while others could sit at the bar while he's cooking. The fireplace is positioned so that when you round the corner to enter the back yard its the first thing to be seen making it the main attraction. | $80k | Danville, VA |
  | Global War on Terror Memorial | Jun 2014 | Most meaningful project in my career. This memorial is located at the 'Old' Doylestown Court House. It honors local fallen hero's who lost their lives in the battle on Terror. The concrete inlay in the center of the memorial is a piece of concrete runway from Afghanistan. We were given the task to transport it from the Willow Grove Navel base where it was stored for about 12 years and install it along with EP Henry Pavers and Brick Benches. A police officer that works in the Court House one morning approached us during the construction. He asked if we would place his brothers dog tags inside one of the benches before we closed it in with brick. The toughest guys on the my crew were brought to tears because we all realized then what this memorial means to those who lost loved ones. I'm thankful that we were asked to be a part of this incredibly important memorial. It forever changed me for the better.   | Chestnut Hill Renovation | Apr 2014 | We were hired to demo the existing patios and landscaping, excavate for the new addition, install drainage pipe, construct the rain garden, landscape, hardscape, and lighting design and installation. The project features natural stone veneer, wet laid Flagstone patios, and a Sitting wall. The biggest challenge was to match the 100 year old existing stone work.
