Claudia was hired to remodel two bathrooms in my home. She used an unlicensed contractor who improperly pitched the shower floor which was done not to code and now does not drain (the water pools in the shower which eventually will cause mold issues). He walked off the job and she fired him because she said, her reputation was on the line, leaving me stranded with my house tore apart. The whole sub-floor was improperly done and with the lack of pitch, the water was pooling and then running underneath the sub-floor towards the toilet and leaking into the crawl space. The drain in the floor was not low enough so water was just sitting there below the tile - leaking into the crawl space. The cost to redo this is $4300. I tried to resolve this professionally prior to finding out just how unprofessionally the installation was. I asked for a partial refund of $1500 to cover a portion of the replacement cost (Initially the estimate was $3000.00. I figured that was more than fair. She does not return phone calls or text messages, she has vanished into thin air. The only response I have received was when I said if we can't come to a resolve I would need to take this to small claims court. Her response, "I will sue you for slander." For the record, everything I have stated are facts. Pictures below are standing water in the shower that is supposed to drain and water going through the sub-floor into the crawl space which only happens when the shower is running. This is not the first time she has disappeared on her clients (read the reviews). Others have had to find another contractor to finish their projects. So much for reputation. I reached out to the National Kitchen and Bath Association to file a complaint because she has it on her social media that she is a member and certified and they have a code of ethics. They responded back - "is not, and has never been, a member of the NKBA according to our records. In order to hold an NKBA certification, that individual would need to be a member. Hence, since this individual is not a member, they do not hold an NKBA certification." Do yourself a favor and make sure whomever you hire to do your work is who they say they are!!

If there was an option for 0 stars that is what I would give this woman. Save yourself from a headache. She glorifies herself as having excellent customer service and providing great affordable products, but it's all a lie! Not only was she hired to create a design for a remodel (she did an ok job on), she selected items from Home Depot by doing a copy and paste and slapped them on a paper for the binder, but the items chosen did not flow throughout the property. Additionally when she was to have oversight of the contractors to ensure the construction was done to design, she hardly ever showed to the property (she always had excuses). She also stated she was a wholesaler for cabinets and guaranteed quality and affordability. These cabinets were literally made out of someone's garage. For the $15k that was spent, there was zero attention to detail on the design or selection on what to install in a large chef's kitchen. They also took 5 months to be completed, and when they did they were made incorrectly (wrong sizes, cut, etc.) IKEA has a better selection. When some items of dissatisfaction were brought to her attention, she got extremely defensive, yelled, hung up the phone and even cursed me out (the most unprofessional individual, I've ever dealt with). I will be seeking damages as this woman not only caused months in delayed, but her overall design was poor and cabinet delivery was even worse. To top it off, she is a horrible communicator and can't text, email or spell ( she has her boyfriend do all the important correspondence and immediate sales pitch)
