I had a very bad experience and recommend using caution when considering this roofer. In fact, if he agrees to come out and look at your roof in 2018, that's evidence he's a scammer. He came out to fix a leak for me in January/February 2018. Showed up and fixed the roof as described (although he brought his daughter/grand daughter to help him on the roof). Of course, since it doesn't rain much in AZ, it took a couple months before I found out my roof still leaks. I called to ask if he could come back out and make the necessary repairs to the job. At first he said he would come out, and offered to show up the next day. The next day he called and asked if we could make it the next day, and I said okay. The next day he called and said he had been in the emergency room, and in fact had had a stint put in a few weeks ago, etc. and proceeded to talk about swollen feet, and other things that were preventing him from making our appointment. He said he wasn't sure if he would be able to make it, maybe in another day or two. More than a week later, and I haven't heard from him since. So - of course I hope this man's health is okay. But if he offers to do your roof when he isn't healthy enough to honor the work he did on mine - then I would be cautious. What sounded like a good deal to me at the time has been a complete loss of money as it is now necessary to find a new company to fix his work. I do not recommend using J Romero for roof repair.
