VP&R Construction

Received a quote for a project in October which I accepted. I paid VP&R half of the total amount quoted, then for the next 4 months I was repeatedly promised that someone would come to my home to start the project and every time nobody showed. I would call, complain, then they would apologize and then promise that somebody would definitely come the next time. I most recently had to speak with the owner of the company, Vinnie Gonzales, who told me that I would have to "find somebody else" because they were too busy and focusing on larger projects now. I informed him that he had already been paid for half the job so that I couldn't just "find somebody else". Vinnie stated that if I sent him a copy of the check that he would verify that they had been paid and then somebody over. I emailed him a copy the check immediately and he has subsequently never called back and has stopped responding to emails. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The owner of VP&R is a liar and a cheat and treats his customers poorly.

Came over to give an estimate and was suppose to get back to us on the totals, bit never heard from him. Question: Why come over at all, if there is no follow-through?
