DISGUSTED! Terrible customer service. Rude & aggressive. Took advantage of elderly and disabled. DO NOT PURCHASE OR DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO RESOLVE ISSUE managers kept hanging up on me and avoiding me. On Tuesday July 5th I took my mom to the ER here in Deming. A scan was done and we were told the cancer was back and it had metastasize and was in her liver, kidneys, lungs and elsewhere. We were told it was probably better to keep her comfortable at this point. Upon learning of this information it has been very difficult to process and deal with. My mom cares for my brother who had an accident approximately 20 years ago. My brother was mechanic who had his own business. He was working on a semi when the air bag blew up on his head. His head exploded and was open, He lost an extensive amount of his brain and had many surgeries. The Dr’s didn’t think he would make it and if he did he was going to be a vegetable. My brother is paralyzed on his left side (he was left handed). After returning home from the hospital and discussing things with my mom we agreed it wasn’t a good idea to have the wood burning stove installed. My mother along with the rest of us was devastated with the news we had received about her. I told her I would take care of the situation and cancel it as it shouldn’t be a big issue since it had not been installed or delivered here to Deming. Long story short I got the run around. I was told there would be no refund and I could drive to Silver City pick up the stove & sell it for whatever I could get for it. There is a lot more to the story but I don't have enough space. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!

Very poor customer service. I Went to a Better Chimney wanting pro advice on how to install vent pipes on a pellet stove. I told them that I did not know how to do this and that was why I had come to them and ask for their guidance.They sold me 3 inch pipes. The installation manual on the stove (which I did not buy from them) says that 4 inch pipes are required. When I tried to return the pipes the owner stated that I needed to pay a 15% restocking fee. I asked him to waive this since I had asked them to tell me what I needed to do this installation properly. He has refused, stating that I asked for 3 inch pipes. Customer service is not supportive. He was hostile about me taking a picture of an installation diagram that was in a book on his counter. No other instructions were offered on how to do the install. My experience is that this company wants to sell customers the equipment and also install the equipment. If a customer wants to do the install themselves the company company seems to feel they are being taken advantage of.
