Elegant and Simple

Elegant and Simple Home This home was built for an United States Ambassador with an architect by the Name of Casper Ehmcke. The home was designed in a European style with the courtyard in the rear of the home in lieu of the front. Large spacious rooms with simple and elegant flows between same with oak and porcelain tile floors. This home was purchased and completely remodeled and transformed into a home where the design is elegant and the art takes over the colors for the eyes to behold. The kitchen and pantry were combined to create a wonderful working and useful kitchen. The family room and first floor office millwork is furniture quality crotch book matched mahogany. The kitchen millwork is painted in high gloss. Upstairs features a guest room, second office, mater suite and gym.

Historical Renovation

This elegant home was built by renowned Southern California architect, Wallace Neff in 1928. This project was a historical renovation of the master bathroom, living room, kitchen, laundry and exterior living spaces. Caesar stone counter tops in kitchen, cut Carrera stone for the splash and new appliances in the kitchen. Door and window replacement were made at a mill matches era style millwork. Master bathroom remodeled and redesigned with white Carrera stone and mosaic floor pattern. New lighting, plumbing, HVAC ducting and wood floors were also retro fit into this home.

International Influences

This elegant home was built for a producer and we remodeled it for two subsequent owners. Each subsequent owner made modifications to the original bachelor design of the home. The floors are a unique hardwood design with limestone and marble on the first floor. The kitchen has Australian blue granite with custom tiles on the island. Stone fireplace mantels were carved for each room. The master bedroom has maple coffered wood paneled ceiling and walls. The entry stair case at one time was cherry wood balustrades with a cherry wood capo and now has beautiful wrought iron balustrades and a solid brass cap.

Urban Elegance

Urban Elegance Home was built originally for a local builder and was remodeled by the subsequent owner. This included venetian plaster of walls, a kitchen and master bedroom remodel. In addition, there an elevator added in the breakfast room going directly into the master bedroom. An existing exterior balcony was converted into an interior office gaining additional room without increasing the footprint of the home.

House of Colors This home was completely remodeled changing the stark and sterile feeling of a home into a joyous home filled with bright colors. All millwork and woodwork are finished in high gloss lacquer. Kitchen has Caeser stone counter tops with imported Italian glass tiles. The entry had a solid brass handrail atop the wrought iron balustrade and was removed for a solid wood high gloss handrail. Entry niches and master bedroom fireplaces are finished with silver leaf and gold leaf squares. The master bathroom is a work of art with glass tiles on the radiant heated floor and glass tiles on the walls. White Carrera marble tops on bow front millwork with special coped and carved mirror frames. All first floor walls and the entry are finished in fine venetian plaster.

Mediterranean Style Home Remodel

Mediterranean Style Home This Mediterranean style home has Saltillo tile and exposed beams with a T&G ceiling on the entire first floor. The kitchen was a more recent remodel with Caesar stone counter tops, granite island, glass tile backsplash and a stainless steel hood. Additional major features include: Wrought iron balustrades with solid brass handrail in the entry; Solid oak raised panel millwork in the rooms; and Bullnose corners with barrel vaults at the openings to major room and the courtyard. The master bathroom was recently remodeled using marble counter tops, full height mirrors and frameless shower door system.

French Mediterranean Home Renovation

French Mediterranean Home A French Mediterranean home with limestone and hardwood flooring throughout the first floor. The kitchen was a recent remodel with antique paver, and granite counter tops. The kitchen millwork is furniture quality construction with maple boxes and iceberg maple veneer panels so no seams are visible on the panels. The master bathrooms were also recently remodeled with granite and marble finishes.
