I am so happy that we found Mike! We have an irregular property and had reached out to several surveyors to get quotes for a plot plan, which had been requested by both our architect and landscape architect. The other quotes were outlandishly expensive. Our architect send me Mike's contact info, and he responded right away. He was courteous and prompt, and very kind. A pleasure to work with. The plan was completely done within just a couple of days of that first phone call. And we were most impressed with Mike's honesty - he explained why certain work would be superfluous on our property, for our needs, and as a result was able to give us a very fair price. I highly recommend working with Mike - he's one of those rare responsive, honest, hard-working men who love what they do. Thanks, Mike!

I used this surveying company and had a great experience. They gave us a free quote for a addition and came out very quickly to complete the job.

STAY AWAY. While Mike Antonino may have run a reputable surveying company in the past, that definitely is NOT the case now. I first contacted Mike on 2/13 to survey our new property for a backyard fence and was told that he would be out soon. Over the subsequent weeks, there were delays due to weather (understandable) and a trip to Florida for two weeks (not understandable, given that he had already agreed to do the job). He finally came out to survey our property today (3/19 - over a month after contact) and simply didn't do the work - but still charged me $750 for a "consultation"! Essentially, he found an issue - the neighbor's driveway apparently encroaches on our property. At that point, however, he basically threw up his hands and said that he "doesn't want to get involved in any controversy" and walked away. I wish that I could have a job that would allow me to give my word, delay for a month, and then charge $750 without doing any work because I "don't want to be involved in any controversy". All I needed was my backyard marked for a fence - any he utterly failed to deliver. At the end of the day, he is a fellow vet who mentioned that he is caring for an ill family member, so I just gave him the money. I hope that it helps him in a time of need. However, he should note that he completely failed to complete a job for which I was waiting for a month and that now I need to start over with a new surveyor - one who will hopefully keep their word. In summary, if you need a surveyor and are 100% sure that there are no issues with your property, Mike may be your guy (although it will still take a month). If, however, there may be any sort of issue look elsewhere - he will likely walk away, leaving you empty handed, and still charge you $750.
