I lease a renovation rental property from Jim Reynolds started March 2017 he sexually harassed me, by grabbing my butt the very first time we met, there were termites in one of the bedrooms. Jim was told by me the situation with between he & I was strictly business, but it never stopped him from using derogatory language pertaining to sex whenever he would pop up at the property unexpectedly, I contacted Jim along with sending a video of termites, I was informed that he would send his extermintor guy over to take care of the problem which never happened. This property is one of his renovation for seven months we lived without a refrigerator, because the one that was in the house stopped working, Jim was informed about the issue in August 2017 took him till February 2018 seven months to replace the refrigerator. Also, he was informed about toilet continuous water running, kitchen floor caving in six different places and termites in second bedroom in June 2018. Jim, came out to rental property fixed kitchen floor, toilet in February 2109. I called code enforcement two different times on Jim because of our living conditions, code enforcement came out and contacted Jim on termite issue and was told by Jim that he would take care of the termites the next week, but still has failed to do so at this time. Jim Reynolds has a greed for money, cut corners with renevations and terrible landlord that doesn’t care anything about his tenants as long as he collects his rent money. Jim has a saying “You Pay You Stay.”

I would not recommend buying a house renovated by Jim Reynolds - Home Plus "Builder Of Dreams". He's a personable man. He likes to tell you how good his work is and difficult the historic society is to work with. Turns out I've found lots of things his crew did poorly. The realtor he uses is an ex-business partner and she looks after what's best for them. Look up Southern Property Ventures L.L.C. to verify they were in business together. His realtor which was also our realtor told us how wonder his 10 year builder's warranty is and let me tell you it's a joke. Our contract states well would be given a written 10 year builder's warranty. Nope did happen. Our realtor told us what a wonderful general contractor Jim was and what great work he does. Let me give you some examples of his work. The light & fan switches were wired backwards. His comment to me is there's no code for that. I asked him if his house was wired that way. I did get him to fix it. The french doors in the master bedroom have blinds built into the doors but are missing the mechanism to open and close the blinds. Pointed this out several times prior to walk through and was told each time by Jim he'd take care of it. Nine months later he still hasn't fixed the doors. At the walk through we pointed out several items that weren't addressed and our realtor had all of us sign an addendum and guess what. She didn't provide us a copy and she can't find it. Her response was to talk to Jim because her role is to market & sell property. During the whole process our realtor lead us to believe we are buying the house from Jim but when it comes time to write the contract she tells us the seller is actually Jim's hard money lender out of Tampa and Jim is just the general contractor. Our closing documents do not have Jim Reynolds listed anywhere. There were so many red flags we should have walked but my company was relocating me and my family and I felt I needed to get to Florida. If you just have to have the house then invest the money to have an independent home inspection done. DO NOT CLOSE until everything has been completed to your satisfaction because when you close it's yours and they're gone to the next project. The historic district in Plant City deserves better than these two. Yes the house will look pretty but the quality of workmanship is poor. Be prepared to spend money to fix properly.

I decided to get my home remodel by {homes plus enterprises ,inc} instead of 2 other contractors because it was a couple thousand cheaper. what a mistake that was. first thing was the roof I order the shingles one color and they got whatever they wanted. then the tile. I went to home depot and picked it out with the contractor and he still got me the wrong tile. and all thru out the project nothing was done right. I'm in the process of a law suit because they wont come back and fix warranty issues. just countless things I will not recommend this people at allllllllll
