I had a home warranty with AHS. They assigned K&J to service my clogged AC. Tech came in with a empty water bottle and put water in it and proceeded to pour in drain in attic. No water came out by unit outside. I was required to drain my own pan in attic unless I paid them an additional $165 for them to drain. One hour later. No AC again. Called for recall immediately and was told they could not return for a week for a recall when they had just been there. Following week, exact same service, arrived with a water bottle. Same routine, same outcome, no AC. Another recall. same thing arrived with a empty water bottle and issue not fixed. I was told he was a master technician and he guaranteed this time it was fixed. By this time it’s been three weeks with no AC in 90 plus degree weather. I called and informed them I was about to leave to go out of the country in two days, if they could please come within those two days. Instead they schedule for the following Monday when I already told them I would be out of the country. As soon as I returned I called them and it is 4 weeks with no AC. They said it would be the following Monday. At this point I have already called AHS several times and never had any help from them either. Then found out these service providers want you to pay other fees so they get more money. It seems if you have a home warranty you are bottom of the list of their priority. I refused to keep going through this. I had to hire a new place. They came out the same day and got the huge clog out of my line in the attic, drained my pan and fixed a couple more things and my AC is working better now than it did before and I do not need a new unit. And I paid less than what k&j wanted from me to drain my ac drain pan. Very sad that people are dishonest. If I could give them negative stars I would. I don’t ask a lot. Just fixing my issue would have gotten them 5 stars but I got nothing. Then tech called me on the phone upset with me because I gave a poor review. I am not sure what is wrong with society today. If you do poor service you won’t get a good review. If you are good at what you do and provide great service and a positive attitude you will get a great recommendation from me every time. But I can’t lie about my experience.
