I just paid my bill last week. My trash was not picked up on the scheduled day. I called to see why and was told it was because the trash can was not on the roadside. The entire side of the house that the garbage can is on is no more than 6 feet if that from the roadside. The trash can has been in the same place since I moved in and has been picked up and moved into my driveway every time it has been emptied. The reason for this policy change was because I complained about the can being left in the way. Now after I paid them on 12/6 it is 12/14 they have not picked up the trash and are refusing to refund my payment.
