SHS has been a great help in remodeling my house. I have been able to contact Randy with any questions. He is very prompt and knowledgeable in many aspects of building. I would highly recommend Randy and Smith Home Services to anyone.

Master bath demo & new addition. Randy Smith is a good used car salesman. His words add up but not his work. A 3 week job took 4 months to complete with a threat of are you going to finish or will we see you in court. He did not follow up with the people he sent to work, did not know if they showed up or not. Half the add on was not insulated, finally sent someone to finish but they only threw the roll of insulation up there, still did not insulated. The hot water is hooked up backwards in the shower which is where the commode is hooked up so it fills with hot water. As far the commode goes, it has never been level. The roof was left unfinished. Also had a leak in the wall that he did not want to take responsibility for. The list of small things goes on but the major ones are all that are listed. Now he does not return phone calls. Overall, bad experience.

Randy at SHS, has not only provided multiple services to my home, but has also been a "trusted adviser" halfway through many projects I thought I could tackle on my own. Thankfully he is always willing to come bail me out of any trouble I run into. I always think I am handy until Randy shows up and knows immediately how to fix/build something that I take many hours trying to figure out. Outstanding work and quality at a very fair price! I have been in my house for about 1.5 years - here are just a few projects SHS has done at my personal home - Hang large TVs, Install surround sound(Sonos) inside and outside speakers(wired) with wiring running through attic(no visible wires with Sonos because he plugged in attic), very large retaining wall built with cross-ties and several loads of river rock, installed a chain-link fence and privacy fence, fence around pool equipment, french drains in multiple locations and tied into downspouts, adjusted home water pressure(very hard to find the pressure valve at this home), installed heavy duty 8'Hx16'W garage shelving, fixed faucets, fixed fridge that was leaking all over floor due to malfunctioning parts, repaired sprinkler lines, replaced all accent lighting on house, stained privacy fence, bleached/pressure washed two very very large stone retaining walls with mold/mildew buildup, built a custom dog house for my garage that looks like a workbench and has a dog door leading to outside, made custom wood shutters for exterior windows. Hopefully you can use SHS to work on your home projects that you keep putting off. You will be happy you did...and your project list will be completed. Randy is willing to really listen to what you want/envision and execute on those ideas by using effective communication with his customers. Thanks Randy & SHS crew
