DELORENZO HEATING AND COOLING

I had him install a new electric heating & a/c system He dragged the work out over months and tried to have me purchase materials that he was to supply according the the contract he wrote. In the end it is still unfinished and some of the worst workmanship I have ever seen. I have had other contractors and our local building inspectors see the work he has done and say they have never seen such poor work. He set the inside unit on a rickety looking platform he made from scrap pieces of wood he found on the property. His cold air return was not connected to anything and only drawing air from the utility room. His condensation drain (which had no trap) was cobbled together from pipe he had and some old electrical conduit he found on the property. I gave up trying to get him to come finish and fix his work and hired another contractor. They informed me that the heat pump is twice the size it should be. Because of this they do not run long enough to start the defrost cycle. I had to have the new contractor put an external thermostat on the outdoor unit to prevent it from constantly freezing. I have either had to fix or pay someone to fix at least 60-75% of what he did
