This chimney and roof were leaking. We stripped away shingles at base of chimney, replaced bad roof decking, installed Ice & Water Shield, new flashing and a cricket behind the chimney so that water, ice, debris won't gather in the future. Made a stainless steel chimney cap to replace the old, deteriorating cap.

This customer wanted new windows, doors and roofing. We had already replaced their gutters a few years before. The roof is GAF Timberlne HD Ultra with a 50 Year GAF Golden Pledge Warranty. The windows are Alside Excalibur with Double-Prarie grids for a different look. The Door is by ProVia, a fiberglass Signet Series Door. Both Alside and ProVia are Ohio-based manufacturers. GAF is headquarted in Wayne, NJ. At Tecta America Zero Company, we strive to use products made in Ohio, but always use American made products.

This roof already had dimensional shingles, but as you can see from the "before" photos, some did not match because the roof had been patched in the past. Once this customer got their insurance company to replace the entire roof, the affect is much better. Notice the Closed Cut Valleys in the AFTER PHOTOS. Closed Cut valleys are stronger than metal valleys and they do not conduct heat & cold. Also, on steep roofs, water runs down closed cut valleys more slowly then metal valley.

This customer needed a new roof and some new siding. We replaced the roof and did a lot of work to make sure that the roof was vented properly. You will notice that the AFTER PHOTO has fewer vents than the BEFORE PHOTO. Sometimes fewer is better! It's all about NFVA. New shingles are GAF Timberline HD, color is SLATE.

This customer needed an new roof, gutters and some chimney work. We also installed new shutters on this house. We don't sell many RED ROOFS, but these people wanted one and picked GAF Timberline HD in Patriot Red. Really looks great. We removed a bunch of vents on the roof and added a simple ridge vent with cap shingles for better ventilation and less chance of ever having any leaks.

This older home had a slate roof that was in very bad shape. We repair and install slate roofs, but after some discussion with this customer it was decided that a new, 21st Century Roof was the best avenue for them. We removed all the slate, made the appropriate repairs to the roof deck and then installed a GAF Timberline HD roof with the GAF SYSTEM PLUS 50 Year Warranty. Charcoal/Black looks great on this handsome white home.
