Knox's Remodeling

As a Christian, I find it highly offensive that Mr Knox touts himself as a Christian business. It is my opinion that he does this to prey on others who think that if he says he's a Christian we'll trust him more. Well guess it did work on us. We fell hook line and sinker to his scam that he "would take care of us" and that "we'd be so thrilled with his work". Well he left the job undone and the work he did perform was so shotty it felt like we went through a war. The plumbing work he did, leaked. The floors are all uneven. The tile work he did, my 3 year old granddaughter could have done better. And he's using pics from my home on several websites to show evidence that he does good work. It's not true. Those pics are of the job mid-way done and do not accurately show how poorly the job was done. We have reported him to the attorney general due to how poorly he performed what he was contracted to do. And if you think well he says he's good at roofing, not home improvement, then he shouldn't enter into a contract for work he isn't competent in. And the work we had him do on our roof is done poorly too. He put soffit up and didn't remove the deteriorating wood underneath (despite saying he would), then he just threw some cement on the chimney and didn't do anything to address the fact that the chimney was crumbling in and that's what we wanted him to fix. We were taken ten ways to Sunday. I just hope folks will read my review and consider hiring someone else. You'll be glad you avoided this horror story.

Know remodeling was hired to do some chimney work. Derick Knox lacked the knowledge to do the job and caused $2500 in damages. He refused to fix the problem or refund me my deposit. I tried working with HomeAdvisor and doing mediation but he refused to participate. Finally took him to court and won but he has not paid the restitution.

We hired Derrick and his company to do our entire roof on our home. We had a previous contractor do awful work on our home. Derrick came in on his price in the middle and was very affordable. He did a beautiful job installing a new composite shingle roof. We are so happy we hired them. They are nothing less than outstanding and you will be very pleased with there work.

Knox’s Remodeling did my chimney point on my home we also had him do the roof on our entire home. He was very professional the entire time. He did a spectacular job. We are very pleased with the work he had done and we are bringing him back to point our garage in the summer. Thanks derick
