I started as a handyman and learned a little bit about every aspect of residential structures, from electrical to plumbing, carpentry to drywall, from trimwork to cabinetry, hardwood to tile, kitchen and bath remodeling to finished basements. I have some pretty strong relationships with other professionals who do things I do not do, such as licensed plumbers and electricians. I have developed a high level of respect for specialized professionals and have learned to appreciate the skills required to becoming a general contractor for larger projects. I think I have made it obvious that I enjoy custom woodworking and cabinetry projects, but I also appreciate that I am a problem solver and will look at most any project. If I cannot do something for whatever reason, I have developed some good relationships through the years with other passionate professionals.
