It all started with needing to have the hole in the side of fascia repaired to prevent birds from entering. I sought two bids and figured I should get a third. Thank goodness I did. My third bid was with Roof.net. I wish I could give them 100 stars since 5 is just not enough! Why? Well, below are 10 reasons, and there are many, many more. Just read what is listed on their website. IT IS ALL TRUE! And that’s a first for me! 1. Impeccable Customer Service: a. Customer service from start to end, like I haven’t experienced in years! When I called, Ken the owner, answered my call. It was my first call and a real person, the owner, answered! Where does that happen these days?!! 2. Punctual and Reliable: a. I explained my roof situation and he said he’d be out to see it the next morning. “HE” not a member of his team. Exactly on time, Ken showed up the next day. Previously I made a list of what the other two roofers said I needed (with no prices listed of course) to show Ken. 3. Honesty, Integrity and Transparent: a. Ken told me a few things I did not need and a few I would and explained it all. He gave me a quote on the spot. It was lower than the other two bids while providing more than the other two bids included. And, while replacing the roof there were a few other issues found. Ken fixed them with no additional charge. Who does that anymore?!? 4. Quality Products: a. Ken listed the products they would use and what made them high quality (higher than the other roofers listed). His company provides an ample guarantee AND it’s transferable. So if you sell your home the warranty transfers to the new home owner. Most companies don’t transfer the warranty! Who knew?! 5. Same Day Service: a. I was shocked that the truck with my supplies arrived at 7:15AM, and before they finished unloading (which only took 20 minutes), the crew was there ready to work. 6. Responsible and Responsive: a. While the crew was working on my roof, Ken texted saying he’d be by shortly to check on everything. Sure enough he arrived and spoke to his crew. Everything was flowing seamlessly. He showed me some other issues (via photo) and said they’d take care of it all AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Again, I ask you, who does this anymore? 7. Superior workmanship: a. It took the crew around 4-5 hours to finish laying the new shingles on my (townhouse) roof. Other members of the crew were cleaning up as the roof was being finished. Then the downpour started. The crew left but I noticed some old materials still on my deck. I texted Ken to let him know and he responded IMMEDIATELY! He called to say his crew would return that day as soon as the rain stopped. And, they did. 8. Pride in their work: a. Ken is one of THE most customer service-oriented individuals I have come across in a long, long time. Really. He is responsive, makes sure you understand what will be done, guarantees your satisfaction, and provides a fantastic team that does quality work. 9. Stress-free experience: a. Ken said it would be a stress-free experience for me, and it 100% was. I had no qualms or concerns. I wish ALL companies followed Roof.net and Ken’s ethical way of doing business. His care for his customers is something to experience. 10. It’s all true: a. Absolutely everything on the Roof.net website is 1,000% true. All the reviews you read there are true. Ken should give lessons on how to treat customers and employees. He and his company are superb. For these reasons listed, and many more, is why I am SO happy that I chose Ken and his company Roof.net. You absolutely cannot go wrong with them if you need a new roof!

While others claimed my roof needed major work, Ken said it had another 10 years and maybe longer if I had the black algae removed. Part of my house sits in the shade. The roof of that portion looked dark compared to the roof of the rest of the house. There were signs of water damage inside the house which were created in the past and I feared leaks might return. Since the roof looked dark, I was concerned. Ken took me to the roof and showed how the shingles were in great shape and that a little bit of cleaning would make it look almost as good as new and give it a few extra years. After the cleaning, I was convinced Ken was right. That portion of the roof looked exactly like the other parts of the house. Trust comes in 2 forms: 1) Trusting the person to be honest 2) Trusting the person will do quality work Ken has the rare quality of having both.

I am extremely grateful Roof.net told me my roof did not need repair nor replacement. They saved me a ton of money upfront and potentially more down the road. The two contractors who visited told me I needed to have my raised shingles corrected. One said they would have to lift up the shingles to see where there were issues and flatten out the shingles. Another advised me to replace the roof because it was getting old (I just recently purchased the house). I sent pictures to Roof.net who immediately called and told me what was going on and why I didn't need their services or the services of any others. They said the raised shingles are fairly common against sidings and it is called "step flashing". They explained how raised shingles is almost a good sign because it means nails were placed in the proper place. Had I not reached out to Roof.net, I would have had work down that I didn't need to have done, and avoided any problems in the future done by shoddy work that I didn't need anyway. In the future, I hope I don't need any roofing needs, but if I do, I'll definitely reach out to Roof.net again. -Alex
