Design and build a two car garage and Master bathroom suite on a 150 year old home in Hanover, Ma. We had a unique situation where we had to add a Master bath above an existing cathedral ceiling salon that the Owner was working out of on a daily basis. It took some creative engineering to pull this off as well construction techniques to keep her in operation while the construction was being done.

The home consisted of 11,000 sq.ft. 7 bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half baths, 3 laundry areas, an interior elevator, 3 car garage as well as a port -cochere, 7 stone chimneys and 12 fireplaces as well as 2 full kitchens and plenty of outside living areas.

Remodel a 1727 antique in the Hanover historic four corners. We went thru the home top to bottom. Every product used was either reclaimed or was used for it's detail to historic architecture. The home had the bones of a good home and had only partially been remodeled by previous owners. We took the home back to it's historic value with the extensive work and attention to detail and quality products. We added a new Master suite above a free standing garage, a new barn, a new pool, kitchen, wood roof, top of the line SDL 12 over 12 windows, new AC, new forced hot water heat, new 200 amp panel, extensive landscape and fences, all new ceilings, moldings, painting, enclosed a screened in porch, pergola, patios etc. etc. etc. The home is also noted for it's 100 plus year old murals in the Dining room

Design and build a new home on a ocean front lot overlooking the boston harbor and skyline. The home consisted of 4 floors of living and housed 5 to 6 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, 2 kitchens as well as a fully functioning butlers pantry, Dining room and 2 breakfast areas. a living room and two family rooms, a 22'x22' office as well as a large sitting room. It also consisted of a 2nd floor laundry with 2 washers and dryers as well as a stack on in the lower level in law. We had numerous decks, patios and balcony for our outdoor living on a very compact lot of 5,500 sq.ft. all this with a 2 car garage. The Owner insisted we stick to budget as well as our 1 year construction time line. I feel we accomplished all that and more. It was the gem of the neighborhood.

My client had an antique Cape that burned to the ground - he had lived in it for over 40 years.... Working within a limited budget due to insurance, his goals were to build living space for him and his extended family, keeping the historic look and feel. Given his advanced age, and budget limitations, I wanted to keep his living space on the lower level giving him a common entrance, living area with eat in kitchen, open living room, separate office, Master bedroom with Jack/Jill bathroom and laundry room. From the common entrance to a split staircase, upstairs is the kitchen, dining area, living room and computer nook, Master bedroom with Jack/Jill bathroom along with additional closets/storage areas. A split staircase leads to the third floor with a large front to back family room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with laundry. The exterior is maintenance free yet retains the chunky historic details you would expect from a 200 year old home.

The clients bought a post world war II ranch that was on a beautiful ocean front lot overlooking the Boston skyline. It still had the original kitchen and bath. The home never took advantage of the panoramic views. This home was featured on HGTV before and after as well as voted by South Shore Living magazine as best remodel of the decade.
