I happened upon this review by Steve Butner and was flabberghasted. It is an obvious attempt to smear Direct Plus's reputation. Mr. Butner receives money from DirectBuy and does a majority of the "remodels and installations" on behalf DirectBuy. In other words, he is on their payroll. Direct Buy must be a little nervous and intimidated to have a sycophant such as Steve Butner try to smear another company's reputation. I would recommend Direct Plus hands down. My mother and I have saved thousands on high end furniture we were able to purchase at a fraction of the price through Direct Plus. Additionally, the membership fee at Direct Plus as compared to Direct Buy is a no-brainer. Try it for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

The two reviews below were written by a gentleman named Steve Butner. He uses parts of that name in his username. Mr. Butner owns a company called Energy Secure Solutions, which is now being called Summit Energy Pros. Mr. Butner and ESS cheated my company out of $3,000 last year and lost a binding arbitration hearing with the Better Businsess Bureau of Indianapolis. ESS was ordered to refund me my money, which they have failed to do as of Nov. 17th, 2016. I have been contacted by numerous other entities who have been cheated out of tens of thousands of dollars by this man and his company. As of what I currently know, his grifts run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Perhaps that's why he decided to write these completely ignorant "reviews" of my company? Who knows? People do your own research and don't take my word for it. I've been to the direct plus club and I've been to DirectBuy.... HANDS DOWN, DirectBuy is the BETTER of the two. For example flooring, DirectBuy has an AWESOME showroom with nice big flooring displays, an on sight carpet and tile guy to answer all questions. At direct plus you must go to other showroom across town... No convenience there!!! At DirectBuy you can use your credit card with no fees.... At direct plus they charge you for using your credit card (REALLY?). At DirectBuy they have several cabinet companies to choose from at direct plus it is a measly 1 cabinet company. I've always talked with customers who bought cabinets from Jimmy Kennedy and they have said he makes A LOT of mistakes on the computer drawings and a lot of "in the field" modifications have to be made by the installers. At DirectBuy Holly has been designing cabinet layouts for years and I've never heard of one single design error. The proof is in the pudding... DirectBuy is a national club with the pull to bring in national big leaguers, direct plus is ONLY in Indy a small market.. How can they have any buying power. And the name... Once again DirectBuy is a national company and I think it is sad that direct plus copied DirectBuy's name. Come on direct plus....!!! My friend look at DirectBuy you can't go wrong. What a scam! I bought a ring from Direct plus and Jim Kennedy took the order. He charged me for using my credit card and charged me a handling fee... what a joke!!! The ring was fake and was not even real silver. It was just flat out deception at best. Call me if you have any questions! I will gladly explain my experience with direct plus and Jimmy Kennedy!
