T N H Home Improvements Terry Holliday, You took 8 weeks to delivery virtually nothing in services. You were only able to complete my garage roof and a partially completed foundation that was completely off level and unusable in its current state at your release from my property. The corners were stacked half blocks and not laced at the intersecting walls, how would you expect the walls not to collapse? Starting at the house the fall is 1 ½ inches along the 20ft side and again on the back wall entire length. The center support wall is also 2 inches off level from end to end and it was incorrectly set at 9 feet from the back wall, was supposed to be 8 feet. You lied when you said you had a competent crew when in reality you were hiring all your help on Craig’s List. You brought criminals and drug addicts to my HOME!! Not only were they stealing from me but they were doing illegal drugs at my HOME! The crack pipe that I found in my yard after the snow melt is all the evidence I needed. How was it that YOU expected me to open the interior of my home to these people? As it was, we couldn’t even leave our doors unlocked while we were home and the security alarm was active whenever your people were here, outside. You tried to pour the concrete floor and footings in one pour, which anyone with any experience can verify that that would’ve been incorrect and would not have passed any inspection but you didn’t care about that because there wouldn’t have been an inspection since you never obtained a building permit. You started one at the city offices but for some reason you decided not to follow through. Most likely to prevent any building inspector to inspect you shoddy work. You caused thousands of dollars in damages here which include damage to my garage siding and gutters, garage door, broken fences, cut gas line, concrete truck sank my driveway, cracked concrete due to erosion under after you left the pit open for 8 weeks, 40 ton of dirt clean up that was NEVER supposed to be piled in my yard, landscaping, trees and bushes. Not to mention laying blocks to interfere with my electric meter box that now has to be moved. And, then you audacity to denied an insurance claim to cover it. You told State Farm you’d pay out of pocket…WITH WHAT? MY MONEY?? You told me you were buying materials yet you never provided a single receipt or had any materials delivered other than blocks, sand and mortar. Certainly not $28000 worth! Best I can tell, and confirmed with a professional builder, I received about $7000 worth of completed work which would include the garage roof, digging the crawl space and block work if I were to accept the absolutely awful workmanship from the footing to the top. Fact is you weren’t buying anything. No lumber, no doors, no windows…even after countless wasted phone calls that you had questions of how I wanted doors and window to open and face. All just an act. Terry, even on your last dying act YOU said trusses were being delivered on that following Monday. I knew they weren’t coming as I knew that no one from any truss company was here to measure for them. Just another lying act. For all these reasons, I have every legal right to break your contract without penalty. You’ll also note there wasn’t any discussion in the contract related to any penalty for breaking the contract. Your misrepresentation as a contractor is at fraud levels. Total scam!
