I moved into my house February 10 2020. On Friday February 21 2020 I noticed water coming up out of the basement shower drain and water was almost coming out of the basement toilet. I had a plumber come out for emergency services that night and as a result found out that most of my sewage line was corroded and had a bunch of roots growing that led to the initial clog. On Monday February 24 Anne Arundel county came out because the work done on Friday had affected their line. I was informed that there was a thick mud that was coming from my side. I was also informed that their side would need to be replaced but that I would have to have mine done first. Both the plumber that came out initially and the countys plumber recommended an immediate replacement as they could not give me a specific window of time I had. Thus I am looking for price quotes to get the line replaced from the basement all the way to the countys line. I would say from the front of the house to the location where my line meets the countys is between 20-30 feet.
