Called and spoke to Vicki regarding items not normally picked up and I received wonderful customer service and very friendly. The collectors do not receive enough Kudos for the job they do. No matter the weather for the season they are still doing their job making life easier for us the customers. Thank you for your excellent service

We used Shanks Enterprises - had a dumpster on our property. They backed their large garbage truck into a flatbed trailer in our driveway when they came to empty the dumpster. They caused damage to the alignment so that the tilt-bed won't tilt up and down without having to force a comalong over now....they promised to pay for all the damage and asked us not to call the police for a police report. We agreed, they were very apologetic.... BUT then they took the dumpster, canceled our service, refused to pay to have the alignment fixed. THIS is how they treat customers when THEY negligently damage their private property. I filed a report with the BBB and you can read more there. DO NOT USE SHANKS. BUYER BEWARE. This company is negligent and lies. There are so many decent dumpster companies out there. Do yourself a favor and choose one of those. What if they hit your car? Your pet? These people DO NOT CARE and WILL NOT ACT WITH HONOR OR DECENCY. UPDATE: The BBB report stays on record for three years. Now that the 3 years is up and the complaint deleted, we suddenly started receiving falsified bills and harassing notes from Carol at Shanks Enterprises Inc. They are mad we filed the BBB report and are still being childish. They STILL have not paid us the $1,275. they owe us for the alignment damage (broke it in half!) to our flatbed. CONSUMER BEWARE! Hey, don't say you weren't warned.
