AVOID THIS MAN: Dennis came to my house and gave me a quote for painting of foyer, LR, kitchen, mudroom and bathroom. He indicated that in addition to the painting that he would replace all the molding. Quote was high and when I mentioned this to him, he said that he could lower it by $1000. Simple and done deal. Painting was another issue. There was little to no prep to walls to repair existing imperfections. When I mentioned this to him (in writing) his response was "Well, you cant expect me to do the same job at a lower price. I dont work for free you know." I never asked him to NOT do something. He just refused to do it. Holes were left in the walls which he just painted over. A new outlet was spackled and painted with about a 2 inch gap around the box that NO plate would be able to cover. My bathroom was painted 2 different colors. The baseboard molding is inconsistent or not done. He stopped replying to my texts after he finished. My girlfriend appealed to his 'conscience' and he said that he would return to finish the inconsistencies. It took over 3 months for him to do this and still the job looks like crap. Gaps in the molding. Gouges in the walls. Paint on the floors. Some areas he 'forgot' to paint. Doors that wouldn't close until I fixed them (He said its because the hinges were mounted wrong.... funny, they all worked before!). Garbage, wood and shavings left in my yard. He said he would leave me plenty of paint for me to 'touch up.' Why do I have to touch up, you're the painter. He left me a can with just enough paint to cover the bottom of the can. About enough to paint a small window. My advice: AVOID HIM. IF YOU MUST USE, GET EVERYTHING IN DETAILED WRITING. oh, and 1/2 way through he asked ME for his original quote because he lost it! Poor communication, poor work ethic, sloppy work and inconsistent.

Owner came into our place of business and immediately asked for a discount start he is a contractor. As a rule of thumb we don’t give discounts to anyone who is a first time shopper because we have no way of knowing whether they safe going to purchase from us once or become a regular customer. But our employee told him we’d give him the contractor discount of 20% off paint and 15% off any sundries over $10.00. Unfortunately at that time our cash register experienced a software issue and would not process any sales. The employee tried multiple times to fix the issue but was unable. At that point Mr. Garcia said “I am just gonna go somewhere else.” and walked out. The employee was speaking to a customer that was only buying one quart of outdated paint which was on sale for $7.99 and was trying to tell her he could not process her sale. He said that he was most likely going to close the store until he could get the issue fixed which would be tough since it was Sunday, we are open for only a few hours and my st of the staff attends church and cannot e reached. Mr. Garcia did not wait to hear any of this and left quickly. Now he has gone onto Facebook and left two bad reviews. Had ask own that our reputation would be subject to this harassment we would have stayed closed on Sundays (this was just the third one we had opened on Sunday. We are of course sorry we could not satisfy Shia needs but leaving bad review after we review is a bad way to deal with frustrations. Instead we invite him to come in Friday to speak to the employee in question. Somehow we think this probably won’t happen.
