LHI Remodelling

Project features a complete remodel of guest bedroom. We took down all old crown moulding around the cabinets. Took down all doors and hardware and brought them over to the shop where we sand blasted them, oil primed and sprayed with finishing acrylic based paint. In the meantime, all the stationary parts of the cabinets were sanded with our state of the art dustless Festool technology, deglossed with liquid deglosser to remove any leftover stain and poly in pores, oil primed, and then hand custom painted with the finished acrylic paint. We then installed all new crown around the cabinets to replace the old one that was much narrower, caulked puttied, painted walls, ceiling, doors and trim. We then bubble wrapped the doors that were sprayed back at the shop, wrapped them in blankets and transferred them back to the house, where we reinstalled them with all brand new hardware.

This stained table was passed down through generations of Lachman family. We repainted their entire home and they asked us if there is anything at all we can do to this table, since they didn’t want to simply replace it. The solution we gave them is a complete refinishing with oil based Fine Paints Of Europe paint. The total project took about 2 weeks to complete, a few hours per day. Lachman’s had a garage which could have been used for painting of the table, which made the job easier since we did not need to transfer it to the shop to sandblast there. We started by covering the garage in its entirety with plastic. We then created a sealed dust free room in that garage by putting out 10 filled 5 gallon buckets with water to attract any dust particles out of the air. Once the area was free of any dust, which we checked for under the black light, we continued by completely sanding the table with our state of the art Festool Dustless sander technology, then manually sanding it in hard to reach places and immediately sucking up any new dust created. We then washed the table in its entirety with alcohol to get rid of any dust residue, deglossed the table and cleaned it again. We applied Swedish putty on every surface of the table to smooth it and sanded it again to create an extremely smooth surface. We then primed with oil based primer and painted in 2 separate colors to match the kitchen. This is the final product. It’s a lengthy process that is not cheap but the results are worth every penny. Fine Paints Of Europe is an incredible product that has no competition of any kind. It comes in Gloss, Semi Gloss, Satin, Matte and Flat finishes. This table was Finished in Semi Gloss down below with white and Matte finish on the table top itself.

Project in Newtown Square for a Residual Investment Group. The Group purchases homes in distress and fully refurbishes them into high end homes. We do all the drywall and trim installation and then paint the homes. This specific home was sold for a $250k profit from purchase after expenses.
