Great guy! He was a little slow getting the job done. But did great work along with his crew. I am glad he took his time and did it right instead of fast and having problems in the long run.

I only wish I had taken the time to read all the reviews – I never would have considered him for the job. Dale came out and gave me a quote to replace the stairs handrails and posts as well as stain the material. He gave us a contract and requested $800 up front to buy the material for the project. He said at that time it would take a couple of weeks to get the material as well as a sample for the stain color. We waited for two weeks for him to make contact - nothing happened. So, I started calling and texting - he didn’t answer the calls and only replyed to a few texts. Even when he would answer and say he was going to come to the house he was a no show – with no explanation. We haven’t seen our money or him since then. Not sure why he goes thru the trouble of working up a contract since it clearly means nothing to him other than a way to put you at ease before he takes your money. A rating of “Poor” is too high for this individual who is certainly no professional. A person not to be trusted - he should be ashamed of his actions.

I signed a contract with Dale Faltysek (Tradition Construction to rebuild my large deck for $18,300 and paid $16,000 up front to get the job done. After a few days, Dale walked off the job. I filed a small claims court suit against him and was awarded $9,926 to get the job finished. To this day, I have not received a penny. I contacted Ramon Olvera and CEO Matt Ehrilichman with Porch.com for help, but they could not do much even though they represented the contractor. I don't think they do any background checks before representing a pro.

If we didn’t give him the $1800 then how could he refund it? We have a copy of the check he cashed. End of Feb and we have received no refund. We have a contractor on site now that is doing a great job and the windows were less than $800 - job started a week after contract. Still waiting for our $1800 from Tradition Construction. Not only did he take our money but lied about us giving him the check HE CASHED on Dec 26. I have a copy of the cashed check if anyone questions my comments
