By closing off one of the windows we added some much needed cabinet space. There was seating space that had to be accounted for so we placed the peninsula cabinets at the end of the kitchen. We took out the soffit's on one side which gave us the ability to go a full 39" high with the wall cabinet's. By moving the stove 9" we were able to add a corner cabinet while allowing for more counter top and food preparation space.
