Stay away form this guy. we had a horrible experience with this guy fixing the underneath of our deck. He said he could do the job and had experience, we should had read his reviews first. He did so of bad job we terminated his service without finishing the job. Me and my husband had to finish the job. And now we are out $850.50 dollars. We are considering suing the guy.

Miserable. The Closet doors Alex installed in our front entry were installed improperly. It is missing upper trim and looks very amateurish. I am now stuck with a huge piece of trim missing. I called, or at least tried to contact Alex Profenna and the voicemail message is always full and never picks up his phone. Guides adhered to the floor to guide the closet doors broke loose leaving the closet doors flopping around. Eventually, when he did answer the phone, he said. " I'm not coming back for that." I wish I can post a picture of this job all over the internet. He has no interest in seeing a job through in any professional manner. Alex did a minor bathroom improvement. The corners of the walls are not at 90 degree angles, they are just slanted all over the place. I mean badly slanted. Not just a little. His team of illegal street corner workers whom he just picked up off the street corner that morning was given a job to paint the bathroom and do some mudding. Unsanded patches abound. Tile floors chipped badly due to illegal street corner workers dropping tools onto an unprotected tile bathroom floor. Had Alex install a reverse osmosis water system in our kitchen. Nothing worked right. No pressure, tank took forever to fill. Had to hire a real professional plumber to reverse engineer what he had done. Hundreds of dollars later, the plumber says to my wife and I, I don't know who did this mess but everything is backwards, lose his number. Fine. Just as well. Voice mail message is always full and he never picks up his phone. I guess he's busy. Do yourself a favor. Hire someone who has been in the business for decades. Who has real apprentices. Alex is flippant. You think he might take his jobs seriously. And you'll be convinced in the beginning. I was relegated to going to YouTube to learn how to fix all of his mistakes. Just awful. No one should have to be subjected to this especially in your own home.

Stay far away from ACP contracting Alex profenna From Nanuet New York we hired him to come look at a home that needed a cleaner really a mess he came and looked at it he wanted to do it as an insurance claim he wanted to break the water heater I have it on recording a full recording of him saying I wanna break the water heater but the guys downstairs here I don’t want him to see me what will he think when his stuff gets flooded the guy was leaving the next day HE took it upon himself to coME Back and break the water heater flooding the downstairs and then deciding to contact the insurance company and file a fraud claim we couldn’t believe what he was doing then to top it all off he requested us to give him over $1500 he was going to put in a new water heater he was going to also put a new front doors he never did any of it he pocketed the money and he ran off he did absolutely nothing he’s a scammer and everybody should stay away Contacting the licensing bureau tomorrow to send them a copy of the tape and all of our messages as well so that they pull his license and he’ll never be able to work again we requested our money back he decided to block us and not even pay attention what are heater never
