Our technicians and project managers are required to complete study, gain field experience and pass comprehensive exams in specific catagories of cleaning, restoration and inspection. Our people are IICRC certified in water damage, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, bio-hazards, odor removal, cleaning upholstery, carpet, wood, stone and tile. Many hold advanced certifications in structural drying and mold remediation. SERVPRO® of Chesterfield, Tri-Cities and Newport News is certified by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). NADCA represents pre-qualified companies engaged in the assessment, cleaning, and restoration of HVAC systems. Our technicians and project managers are NADCA certified as Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS). We also hold NADCA certifications as Certified Ventilation Inspectors (CVI) and Ventilation System Mold Remediators (VSMR). We are members of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) The IAQA reviews the application, credentials, education and experience of candidates. An exam is required. The examination results along with the application, credentials, education and a company's experience level are reviewed by an independent certification board prior to approval and the certification award.
