Young's Flooring

After 2 other quotes on carpet in one bedroom. I went with Youngs flooring. The owner came out have me a reasonable estimate had the carpet in within a week. Very happy with overall service experience and can't beat the price. I am in the process of having my hardwood floors refinished and will use Todd Young.

I contracted Young's Flooring about 3 weeks ago to install carpeting in my bedroom, the "installer" told me he the boss /owner would come back to insert some type of strip in master bath were the carpet ends because I'm putting down tile. He never came back, I called him with another concern and he would be there Friday morning never showed up. I called his place of business the next day " Saturday"he informed me his son was in a bad accident Thursday, I told him I'm sorry to hear that, I felt if you're in the store doing business on Saturday you could of gave me a call and let me know what happened and reschedule. that's when he went off on me and told me never to call his place of business again. I personally have been in the customer service industry for quite a few years. My philosophy to build a great business is grow, gain & Retain. May I state one more time, I am not insensitive Person but if you're at your place of business answering phones he or one of his staff could at least have notified me and made other arrangements. (If I was a new customer seeking happen seeking carpets he certainly would of be eager to serve me. My personal opinion is he doesn't have business skills, or know how to handle stressful situations. His outside contractor did do a nice job of laying the carpet.

Still haven't received a quote or a phone call back and it's been a week and a half since his visit.
