I am a Realtor representing a client who was buying a home. We had a home inspection done and it was indicated that there was a leak in the water heater, and as every good home inspection is done- there was photos accompanying the report. As the Buyer agent we asked that the Seller "repair or replace the water heater"- The Seller then proceeded to call their Home Warranty company- who unfortunately uses Stallion Plumbing. A tech from Stallion came to the home and even though they were provided with the home inspection, and photos- took a look at the water heater, the adjacent water on the ground- and stated that there was no leak- only corrosion and condensation- promptly charged the Seller a fee and leaving. BASED ON THE ADVICE OF THIS PLUMBER the Seller did not replace or repair the water heater, because even after a thorough home inspection, by the home inspector showing that the water heater was leaking this plumber stated he didn't find a leak. He also did not do anything like a condensation pan to fix what he alleged was condensation. As in all things related to Real Estate, repairs are normally always negotiated prior to close. The Seller asked for a second opinion from the company and they did nothing, so they were unable to repair or replace the unit. Fast forward a couple of weeks, the home has closed- the buyers are in the home and the water heater floods the basement. They call their home warranty company and the tech not only finds where the water heater was leaking, but says it has been leaking for months and any plumber should have been able to find the leak easily. The Buyer is now having to pay out of pocket to file a claim with the home warranty, and is out of pocket all costs to bring the unit up to code. I called Stallion Plumbing to let them know of the problem and give them the chance to do the right thing and remedy the situation. Instead they had the plumber call me who told me- he found no leak and it wasn't his problem. I asked him where the photos were for his inspection and he told me he did not take any photos, although for an insurance claim those should be a part of the file and that "we do a lot of inspections..." so it is hard to keep them all straight. He told me that there are specific things that the insurance company looks for to determine a leak and replacement of the unit, and because he didn't find those specific items he did not act on the issue- instead of thoroughly diagnosing the problem and taking the steps to remediate and resolve the problem before it because a bigger and more costly problem. He also proceeded to tell me that he returned a second time to inspect the water heater and still found no leak. I spoke to the Seller and they said they would have welcomed a second opinion, but the tech had never returned. So this was a blatant lie. I have since called the Stallion plumbing office DAILY, and have left a couple of messages and they not only ignore my call but refuse to return my voicemails. This entire situation was avoidable and due to the negligence of this company and plumber- and now my client is out of pocket money on an issue that could and should have been solved correctly the first time and prior to moving their family into the home.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING COMPANY!!! They have terrible service and poorly trained plumbers. I used them to fix a leaky valve on my water heater- not only did they not properly complete the job (the leak seemed fixed for the moment that the plumber was at my home, but after he left, started leaking 5x faster and resulted in flooding and mass water damage in my basement), but they REFUSED to stand by their work and come back to complete the job. When I called the company to ask them to send a different plumber to fix what the first plumber did not, the phone agent refused to send anyone and hung up the phone on me! I have never in my life dealt with a WORSE COMPANY!!! Please call anyone but Stallion Plumbing! There are numerous bad reviews on this company all over the internet.
