This renovation included new engineered hardwood flooring, completely new kitchen, new fireplace in the family room, and the addition of board and batten throughout the main floor. Painting the walls and millwork different shades of white gives the whole space a clean, sophisticated look. We love the contrast of the dark planked floors against the white - so lovely.

Rock Meadow is an equestrian neighborhood nestled in Sammamish, WA, a suburb just outside the city of Seattle. The goal for this remodel was to create a space that was much like a contemporary farm house. Using a mix of high-finish textures like the quartize counter tops & marble backsplash in conjunction with used beams and reclaimed brick, we were able to create a warm space that was fabulously updated yet respectful of the farm-like style of the home and neighborhood. The homeowners are dear friends of our firm and it was an absolute pleasure helping them with the design of the kitchen and finishes throughout the main floor. This major kitchen/dining room renovation made a giant difference in this home! We knocked down walls in both the dining room and kitchen nook to expand this kitchen to accommodate a baking station and secondary prep sink area. Mixing textures like rough knotty alder on the island with the honed marble top and the high-finish quartzite counters on the perimeter made for a wonderful balance. We love the combination of the pretty and delicate details like the backsplash and the furniture-like hood mantel with the big commercial elements like the industrial faucets and the large stainless appliances.

In 2012 we were pleasantly challenged to remodel a show-stopping kitchen in Sammamish, WA. The homeowners were looking to attain a sophisticated, East Coast inspired kitchen with clean lines and fresh color palette. Our favorite part of this kitchen - the marble subway tiles across the entire back wall - GORGEOUS! We also painted & furnished the family room off the kitchen as well as the front living room. Each room showcases a different color palette and overall feel, but we maintained the clean lines throughout the house to create a sense of continuity.
