Our passion for high quality tile work began early on; long before DeAngelis became known as one of the most trustworthy tile companies in Rochester NY. Even from an early age, owner and principal foreman Erminio, or Ernie "The Tile Man" DeAngelis had a knack for all things hands-on. His successful thirty-year career has its roots in helping Tile Man Sr. as a young boy. His father, a master craftsman from Italy, planted the seed, uncovered a talent, and the rest is history. Armed with a firm moral foundation built upon honesty, discipline, creative vision, and meticulous attention to the most fine detail, Erminio has had a trowel in his hand ever since. His years as a boy, a teenager, a young man until this very day, have been spent perfecting the craft his father passed on so many years ago. His commitment to imparting pride and integrity in every job, it's more than just a way of honoring a mentor; it's a rare assurance of a flawless finished project. Erminio has an Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, and is actively involved in the Rochester community. As the company's founder and owner, he is either present or primary on all home remodeling projects.
