We are a small, award winning design-build and home remodeling company based in Chittenden County, Vermont. We have become well known for our extremely energy efficient new homes and renovations, craftsmanship and for providing caring, personalized client support throughout every aspect of the building process. Along with building durable, well crafted homes, additions, decks, porches, garages and anything else you need, we also want to ensure that the indoor air quality of your home is maintained or enhanced when we are finished so that your home is not just a beautiful place to live but also a healthy one. We accomplish this by carefully selecting the materials and finishes we use through every phase of construction in an effort to minimize any off gassing of volatile organic compounds (VOC's) which can negatively impact indoor air quality. We also make sure your home has the right ventilation system that brings adequate fresh air into your home and provides superior moisture control. We also make every effort to recycle and reuse materials wherever possible and source materials from local vendors. All of these elements brought together into an integrated approach to building is what makes use truly "green"- durable, long lasting, energy efficient design, focus on indoor air quality, using healthy building materials and minimizing environmental impact. Over the last several years we have received several awards for our green approach to building and our energy efficient designs. These came from the Home Builders and Remodelers Association, Efficiency Vermont and the Vermont Green Building Network. Several of the homes we have built and remodeling projects we have done over the past few years are 70-80% more energy efficient than the Energy Star standard and a few at the Net Zero level of performance meaning the homes produce as much energy as they use. At the heart of our work is our relationship with you. We work very hard to make the building and remodeling process as clear, easy, fun, and stress free as possible by providing you with clear estimates, progress reports and maintaining a spirit of collaboration and clear, open communications with you through every project.
