When we first hired Terry from Premier Plumbing over a year ago, he did excellent and timely work. He wouldn’t provide a quote but we needed the work done so we went with him anyway. It then took 4 mos. time of my chasing after him for an invoice. We had him to our home for a couple of other smaller jobs. We then hired him to help us with the reconstruction/configuring of the plumbing of an old existing full bath in our basement. We insisted on a quote, to which he only provided a verbal one of “a couple thousand dollars”. We hired him for his 20+ years of experience, but instead of coming himself, he sent his VERY junior assistant to do the majority of the work. We determined it would be more cost effective for us to finish the job ourselves and called him off the job well before it was finished. Again, I needed to chase him for the invoice. When it came 3 mos later, it was for $2300! We contacted him to let him know that we were dissatisfied by the fact that his invoice for half the work was for more than the quoted price of the fully completed job. He became unprofessional, rude & immature in his replies. He never comes when he says he will. It is incredibly difficult to plan for when he’ll come to do the work in your home. He initially comes across as helpful but will later be difficult to work with and if you do not agree with him, he will become nasty and rude. I would never have him back to our home and would highly recommend others not hire him either.
