Called to have someone check our unit; Carl came out, checked everything and sadly reported we were going to need a new unit. He quoted us a price along with a guarantee that if anything fails to work on it, he would come back and make repairs as needed. His honesty was very much appreciated. We will continue to do business with him in the future. Hard to find honest people in this world nowadays and we appreciate him for that. Great service and response to our needs.

So my unit started blowing warm air and not cooling and got to 88 degrees in the house. I had to be out of the house for a funeral but a technician was able to come later in the afternoon when my daughter was home. Replaced the 50/5 capacitor and sprayed the coils and compressor for about 45 minutes with my water hose. I was appreciative to have my air back to normal later that evening. Great job for fixing it! PROBLEM: The exact part that was replaced, found online for $19.00 on several different sites, but when invoiced, I was told I was charged $250.00 and paid $75.00 for the hour of service/labor! Total billed was $325.00!!!! Lesson to be learned---Youtube, Amazon and try to save some money. Since it was miserable in the house and dealing with a funeral, I was willing to pay for what I didn't know how to do myself, but 1000% markup on parts seems as if I was taken for a ride. I would hope there would have been a different explanation of what the parts cost and may have been less disappointed if that would have been closer to the labor cost! The ladies answering the phone were awesome though!!!!
