“My customer was selling her home and asked her AC company to do a final service on her rooftop air conditioner so that she would have a clean inspection. She called me very upset because the service tech told her there was mold all through her air conditioner and that it needed to be replaced. He told her the price for the new unit, but told her if she signed the contract today he would cut the price in half, but only if she signed the contract today. Tomorrow the price would double. While the tech was still there, she called and asked me what to do. I told her not to sign anything. I said, “Let’s call Doug Loggins with #1 Cooling and Heating and get his opinion.” Doug was there the same day and within minutes Doug came off the roof and said “There is no mold in this closed system. It is in perfect condition, running properly, and does not need to be replaced.” All he charged was a single service call and the seller was able to provide a clean bill of health to the buyer of her home.” I highly recommend Doug Loggins and #1 Cooling and Heating for their honesty and integrity.
