Make sure to get a written quote from him with everything on it and your price before you let him start. I used to think a handshake meant something in TN until I met Bobby Haynes. He gave us a price that would include 1.5 days of work on our new house. When he started, we added a couple of items (less than 15% more work) for him. His team still completed in 1.5 days, and yet his final price was 2.5 times more than we "shook" for. Now, I expected the price to be a bit higher since we did add a small amount of work, but in no way did he do 2.5 times the work in the same amount of time he originally quoted. And, we were still waiting on some lights to come in and on his final bill, he listed that he would come back to do them and that it was paid for. When it came time to do that, he all of a sudden had memory issues and said there were only 2 lights left to add instead of the 4 that we agreed to and paid for, and that other people heard him agree to. He now refuses to come to do the work he has already been paid for without more money. Do not trust him. Get everything in writing in advance. Do not accept a handshake. And be very wary of cost overruns. He is shady, and, since he refuses to come to complete the work he has been paid for or pay us back, he is also a thief.

Put in the wrong type of generator , overcharged me and I was unable to get the correct generator . Got mad when I asked to get my money back or the correct generator . Paid him $4,200 for the generator ,he offered me $2,500 to buy it back from me.

I paid him 600 and he never came back to do the job so now I'm out 600 and will have to hire a real electrician to fix my lights do not ever hire these people bobby or travis they are crooks
