Pillar To Post

This is Pillar to Post Albuquerque. We are extremely disappointed with this inspector. While they did discover that there was serious dry rot/water damage under the home, they failed to discover the cause of this dry rot. They also did not mention that there was a severe smell of mildew/mold in one of the bedrooms. It turned out that the sprinkler system was broken, which they did not detect, and that the yard sloped dangerously toward the house, both of which were causing the water problems. Since they did not discover this, we had to figure it out after we moved in and pay to have these things fixed. We are still dealing with the mold problem. It is making one room of our 6 room house uninhabitable. While the report indicated that the heating units had been inspected, the inspection was not thorough. We discovered that the thermostat on one of the units was not working and that the safety features on the unit had not been properly hooked up. Thus the unit would not have shut off, if there had been a fire in the exhaust pipe. We could have died in a fire. There were other things they missed, but these were the most egregious.
