Often we found that while on a project constructing outdoor living spaces that many clients requested renovations to their homes that would extend their living spaces to include our outdoor designs and outdoor spaces. Working on historical home installing new decking on balcony overlooking pool. Starting work to remove old windows and install new.
Increased the size of the opening between existing kitchen and the existing dining room. Demolition phase included removal of kitchen cabinets, appliance walls, window modifications. Framing: new pantry, extending powder room, modification kitchen and living room opening. Beam modified at opening between kitchen and living room. Installed new refrigerator, microwave, dish washer, oven cooktop, exhaust hood, disposal, pot filler. Installed new venting for kitchen, new gas line for stove, new fixture location for ice maker, dish washer,sink.

This was a design build project for a separate structure that could function as both a pool change room / studio / guest cottage for owners.The design was done in a manner that would compliment the 7000 sq ft home and fit the site. Build was situated on site with 35 degree slope and required new stone steps from main house kitchen to studio.

GRADE COMPLETED BY BUILDER WAS NOT TO CODE AND CAUSING SLOPE ISSUES AND WATER DRAINAGE ISSUES. WE CONSTRUCTED STONE RETAINING WALL TO ENHANCE FRONT OF HOME. WE THEN FOLLOWED WITH GRADING AND LANDSCAPING. ALL THIS SOFTENED THE FRONT OF THE HOME AND CREATED MORE PRIVACY.
